Professional positive-based, science methodlogy that puts your dogs welfare at the heart of our services.

Dogs are wonderful companions full of love, life, and lots of energy. Unfortunately, all that vitality can be difficult to control! If you are having behavioural issues with your dog, contact the experts at Dogocademy in Yorkshire for professional canine training.

We can help transform an anxious, fearful dog into a calm, friendly family pet. Our dog behaviour experts also excel at managing bad behaviours and aggression. All services are tailored to the client’s specific needs. You can essentially choose exactly what you and your dog need, and we will provide a bespoke program tailored especially for you.

Dogocademy in Yorkshire is a canine welfare, training, and behaviour service. Our dog training experts provide exemplary services to ensure you and your canine companion have a strong bond and your pet has the life skills and training they need to be their best. Our sessions start from as low as £50, and we are unique, a session for us, doesn't mean 1hr, or 3hrs, a session is if we need to begin seeing improvement and our clients are comfortable with going forward. We do not offer "quick fixes" a canine’s emotions are complex and cannot simply be fixed in a single session. Each session we continue to build on the previous session using 3 D’s: distance, distraction, and duration, while we keep things successful, fun and engaging.

*Note: If you’re looking for a slip lead, choke collar, or aversive training we cannot help you, and we will not promote such tools within our sessions.

Here at Dogocademy, we keep things humane and tackle the cause of behavioural issues using reward-based techniques grounded in hard science.

We’ll instruct your dog in an ethical manner while protecting the special relationship you have with your pet. We specialise in everything from general obedience through to crate training and dog walking.

Dogocademy is based in Wakefield and provides services throughout West Yorkshire. Our dog training experts can come to you, or you can drop your dog off with us at a prearranged site. Please note that if you are based farther than 30 miles of Wakefield, there may be additional charges.

We are here to help you achieve success regardless of your companion’s age or temperament.

There is proven science pertaining to training a dog any command or skill. Our qualified welfare and canine behaviourists use fear-free, ethical, science-based methodology to resolve underlining problems associated with unwanted behaviour and we are here to support you through your entire journey.
